Connector Closure Scheduled for I-10 and I-605 in Baldwin Park
Eastbound I-10 connector to northbound I-605 will be closed from Friday, April 12 through 5 a.m. Monday, April 15.
The eastbound San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) connector to the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (I-605) will be closed beginning Friday, April 12 at 10 p.m. through Monday, April 15 at 5 a.m. for bridge and connector work.
This closure is weather permitting and subject to change. Detour signs will be posted to direct motorists.
The 55 hour connector closure is part of the I-10 High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV or carpool) project.
The $165 million project from I-605 to Puente Avenue in Baldwin Park will add an HOV lane in each direction of the freeway, and has an anticipated completion of summer, 2013.
