Baldwin Park Police Carried the "Flame of Hope" (VIDEO)

Several Police officers ran Thursday carrying the torch of the 2013 Summer Special Olympics of Southern California.



The Special Olympic torch lit up the way in Baldwin Park Thursday when five members of the ran 2.8 miles Thursday, carrying what is known as the "Flame of Hope".

Officers from local, county, state, federal, and military agencies have been carrying the torch throughout Southern California as part of the 2013 Law Enforcement Torch Run.

Baldwin Park Police officers ran from Northwest on Pacific Avenue and then west on Ramona Blvd. They hand off the torch to El Monte Police Department close to the intersection with the Interstate 605 Freeway.
