Baldwin Park To Celebrate 19th Annual Senior Citizen’s Prom Tonight

This Friday October 12, the Julia McNeill Senior Center will crown the new King and Queen. The party kicks off at 5:30pm.

Join the Julia McNeill Senior Center for the 19th Annual Senior Citizen’s Prom at the Courtyard Marriott, located at 14635 Baldwin Park Towne Center on Friday, October 12, 2012.

Hop aboard the SS McNeill as the Senior Center crowns the new King and Queen. The party kicks off at 5:30pm with appetizers followed by dinner and dancing.

The prom is an opportunity for the senior citizens to select a new King and Queen who will represent seniors in city and social events throughout the year.

The Senior Citizen’s Prom is a unique event held by the Julia McNeill Senior Center. Not all senior centers create a gala that is specifically tailored for the senior population.

The prom gives seniors an opportunity formally dress up, socialize with friends and members of the community and maintain self confidence. This exciting event is an annual tradition that all seniors look forward to every year.

Tickets for the “A Night on the High Seas” start at $15.00 and go up to $45.00. Prices are based on age and residency. Tickets will be sold at the door.
