Blood Drive To Be Held in Baldwin Park Monday Morning

The Baldwin Park Police Dept along with Kaiser Permanente will be assisting in a Blood Drive in the Arts and Recreation Center Building.

There are many reasons to give blood, but the most important one is that save lives, said on flyer about the Blood Drive to be held this Monday October 15, in the Arts and Recreation Center Building.

Patricia Dena, daughter of Roberto Castillo, who was recently diagnosed with Acute Myelona Leukemia, said the Baldwin Park Police Dept. along with Kaiser Permanente will be assisting her during the event.

"He is in Chemotherapy treatments. Please take the time to donate blood for a cause that's very dear to me. All blood types are welcomed so that others in need are also helped.", said Dena.

The event will start at 9:30 a.m. and will finish at 4:00 p.m.

The Arts and Recreation Center is located at 14403 Pacific Ave, Baldwin Park, next to the City Council Chambers.
