A particular 16th century spring day will be recreated every weekend at the Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire at the until May 20.
The knights, artisans, ladies-in-waiting and other fixtures of the Middle Ages are there to reenact a spring day in the 1500s when Queen Isabella arrived at the seaside port of Deptford in England.
The fair has been held for the past 50 years in Southern California; Tickets cost $25 per adult and $15 per child 5-12.
The Cupcake Wars will be onsite this weekend to deubt 1000 Renaissance Themed Cupcakes in celebration of the Renaissance Pleasure Faire's 50th Golden Julibee Celebration.
