Last Weekend of Renaissance Faire at Santa Fe Dam

The knights, the artisans, the ladies-in-waiting and other fixtures of the Middle Ages are about to leave the land of imagination built at Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area.

The Original Renaissance Faire will celebrate its final day carrying the traditional Closing Day Parade on Sunday May 19th.

The event, which illustrates with precision how people lived during that period, features knights riding horses, open-air theater, musicians and food, among many other attractions.

The fair has been held for the past 50 years in Southern California; Tickets cost $25 per adult and $15 per child 5-12.

The Santa Fe Dam is located north of Baldwin Park at 15501 E. Arrow Highway in Irwindale. Doors open at 10 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. "come rain or shine".Fo more information, visit http://www.renfair.com/socal/
