A man was shot and killed Friday night in Baldwin Park.
The shooting happened around 10:20 p.m. in the 3100 block of Maine Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, whose Homicide Bureau detectives were assisting Baldwin Park police in the death investigation.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, said Deputy Peter Gomez of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.
