The chain opened a new restaurant at Park Plaza on Maine, and claims to have a healthy menu.

A restaurant that claims to offer the best teriyaki menus, and to use only natural ingredients and no artificial additives, opened this week at the Park Plaza Mall on Maine.

Waba Grill Teriyaki House, which has more than 41 branches in Southern California, is located in the M1 space at 4138 Maine Avenue, just steps away from Superior supermarket.

The restaurant, which has its headquarters in City of Industry, joins tenants such as Dollar Familly and Menchies Yogurt, which also opened branches in this mall recently.

According to the Waba Grill website, dishes are prepared using only boneless, skinless, meat with no fat. The teriyaki sauce is made with fruits and vegetables, and without additives like MSG.

The restaurant never uses oil or fries the meat, but instead they cook on a grill.

The salads and vegetables are prepared fresh just before serving.
