Baldwin Park Transportation Center Set to Open on June 22

More than 500 parking spaces for travelers in Baldwin Park will be available next Saturday, June 22, as city officials cut the ribbon to open the new facility.

The City of Baldwin Park announced this week the completion of its new $13.6 million dollar Transit Center. 

More than 500 parking spaces for travelers in Baldwin Park will be available next Saturday, June 22, as city officials cut the ribbon to open the new facility. 

"This versatile project consists of a five level parking structure providing over 500 additional spaces for rail and bus commuters, rest area for bus drivers, police compound for storage and secured parking for police vehicles as well as an overhead pedestrian bridge between the Metrolink Station and the City Hall." states the official webpage of the city of Baldwin Park. 

There will be an opening ceremony on Saturday June 22 at 11:00 a.m. The transportation center is located at 14403 East Pacific Blvd. 

The city is asking the public to RSVP by calling (626) 813-5201.
