Sprinkles fell across portions of Los Angeles on Wednesday morning.
Temperatures dipped just a bit, too, as humidity levels rose. The remnant moisture from former Tropical Storm John also brings a slight chance of thunderstorms through Thursday.
Spurts of rain were reported along the coast in Santa Monica, a bit inland in Culver City and Baldwin Park.
"A few showers and isolated thunderstorms [could] spark up just about anywhere over Los Angeles and Ventura counties this morning," National Weather Service meteorologists reported, "then spread across the entire region later this afternoon."
A high pressure system will return to the area Friday through Saturday. But monsoonal moisture might creep back into Los Angeles County Sunday through Monday, according to the Weather Service forecast.
