The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County recorded its seventh consecutive slight decline on Thursday, dropping three-tenths of a cent to $4.14.
The average price is 1.7 cents less than one week ago, but three-tenths of a cent more than one month ago and 25 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
None of the declines over the past seven days has been more than three- tenths of a cent.
The Orange County average price was unchanged on Thursday, ending a stretch of 15 decreases over 16 days. The Orange County average price of $4.112 is 1.7 cents less than one week ago and four-tenths of a cent lower than one month ago but 25.1 cents higher than one year ago. The Orange County dropped 4.5 cents over the previous 16 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Wednesday.
