Rainy Weather Expected to Last Through Wednesday

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook and warned that rain, wind and possibly hail could hit the region Tuesday as a cold stormfront moves in.

The inclement weather is expected to last through Wednesday and NWS predicts that scattered thunderstorms could produce small hail in addition to the 80 percent chance of rain forecast for Tuesday.

In Baldwin Park there was considerable cloudiness with occasional rain showers on Tuesday. Temperature High was 56F. At night the rainfall expected was near a half an inch.

On Wednesday weather would improve with some clouds in the morning that will give way to mainly sunny skies for the afternoon. High temperature is expected to be 62 Farenheit with winds at 10 to 15 mph.

Here's the 2-day forecast for Baldwin Park from NWS:

• Tuesday Afternoon: Rain. High near 56. South wind around 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
• Tuesday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 4am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4am. Low around 42. Southwest wind around 10 mph becoming west northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%.
• Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers before 10am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 55. West wind around 10 mph.
• Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 40. West northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming north in the evening.
