“Older pets are wonderful company and are the prime choice for individuals who do not want the responsibility of training or raising a puppy,” the DACC said.

According to the authorities, senior pets adapt more easily to new environments. Generally all of them have already lived with a family and have basic training and good manners.

The May promotion is sponsored by the Los Angeles Animal Alliance. The promotion is valid in all County of Los Angeles Animal Care Centers.
