UPDATE: Accident Shut Down I-605 in Baldwin Park
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported on the northbound 605 Freeway interchange at the I-10.
A pickup truck carrying Palm trees overturned on the northbound 605 Freeway Saturday, scattering debris and badly injuring the driver, officials said.
The crash near the Interstate 10 interchange was reported about 1 p.m., according to Los Angeles County fire Supervising Dispatcher Bernard Peters.
The patient was airlifted to a trauma center by a helicopter crew that landed the airship on the freeway, Peters said.
