Baldwin Park Man Arrested on Suspicion of Burglary in West Covina

The suspect was identified as 29-year-old Alfredo Garcia of Baldwin Park. He was caught in act by police.

A prowler was arrested inside a West Covina home Monday where two women and a teenager had locked themselves in a back bedroom with two babies, police said.

West Covina police were en route to a residence in the 900 block of West Lucille Avenue on a report of a prowler who had attempted to gain entry through a back door at 5:36 a.m. when a second call in from a nearby residence about an intruder inside a home, said Officer Rudy Lopez.

Police entered the second home, heard noise coming from the rear of the residence and came upon the suspect in the hallway, Lopez said. He was arrested without incident.
