The motorist whose sedan punched through a fence and down 100 feet to a riverbed suffered a leg injury and was taken by Los Angeles County firefighter medics to a hospital, a CHP officer told Patch.

A car overturned on the southbound 605 Wednesday, ejecting an occupant and ending up in a riverbed in the Baldwin Park area, the CHP reported.
The crash of the Honda at Ramona Boulevard was reported at 2:14 p.m.
The exit ramp was immediately shut down and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, the CHP reported.
A caller told the California Highway Patrol that the ejected motorist was conscious.
