Car Overturns on 605 Freeway, One Ejected (PHOTOS)

The crash on the southbound 605 Freeway at Ramona Boulevard, in the Baldwin Park area, was reported at 2:14 p.m.

The car involved appeared to a Chevrolet, Patch learned at the scene.

The motorist whose sedan punched through a fence and down 100 feet to a riverbed suffered a leg injury and was taken by Los Angeles County firefighter medics to a hospital,  a CHP officer told Patch.

Crews will have to repair 30 feet of chainlink fence that was knocked down when the car went off the freeway, the CHP reported.

A car overturned on the southbound 605 Wednesday, ejecting an occupant and ending up in a riverbed in the Baldwin Park area, the CHP reported.

The crash of the Honda at Ramona Boulevard was reported at 2:14 p.m.

The exit ramp was immediately shut down and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, the CHP reported.

A caller told the California Highway Patrol that the ejected motorist was conscious.

Crews will have to repair 30 feet of chainlink fence that was knocked down when the car went off the freeway, the CHP reported.
