County homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man in Baldwin Park in the 13900 block of Francisquito Avenue Monday afternoon, according to a message sent out by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.
The man was found in a hotel and his death was of a "suspicious nature," according to Lt. David Reynoso of the Baldwin Park Police Department, though he said that investigators do not yet know for sure whether the death is suicide, accident or murder.
The man was found shortly after 1:30 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of 3:45 p.m. the detectives were still on their way to the scene.
