Fire Destroys House in Baldwin Park

Firefighters responded to a fire on Bleecker St.on Thursday afternoon.

Investigators from the Los Angeles County Fire Department in Baldwin Park continued to search for the cause of the fire that destroyed a residence on Bleecker St. on Thursday afternoon.

According to an operator from the department, the incident was reported around 12:50 p.m. in a house located at 5035 Bleecker St., only two blocks south from Arrow Highway.

When firefighters arrived, they found the house "fully engulfed" and were able to contain the fire by 12:58 p.m.

No injuries were reported. The amount in damages is still unknown.

Investigators at the scene declined to offer more details about the incident.
