Man Shot in His Back While Riding Bicycle in Baldwin Park

Police are looking for three or five suspects inside a white pick up truck, who shot a man while riding his bicycle at Ramona Blvd and Downing Avenue.

Investigators with the Baldwin Park Police Department are searching for 3 to 5 suspects after a man was shot in the back while riding his bicycle in Baldwin Park.

According to Lt. David Reynoso, the incident occured around 5:17 p.m. near the intersection of Ramona Blvd. and Downing Avenue.

Paramedics rushed the victim to a local hospital. Police say someone drove by and fired multiple shots from inside a vehicle. The man was hit one time.

He's in critical, but stable condition. Investigators are now looking for a white pick up truck, with 3 or 5 occupants, said Reynoso. The vehicle could be a Ford Ranger with a license plate number that begins with "6L".

According to Reynoso, one of the occupants shot multiple times to the victim.

The victim is a 22 year old resident of Baldwin Park. He was not identified.
