Motorist Injured in Car Accident
A 22-year-old motorist suffered major injuries when his car was rear ended by another car on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway.
BALDWIN PARK (CNS) -A 22-year-old motorist suffered major injuries when his car was rear ended by another car on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Baldwin Park, the California Highway Patrol said today.
The crash on the eastbound freeway, east of Francisquito Avenue occurred at 3:48 a.m. Saturday, according to a department statement.
Sergio Paramo was at a complete stop in his 2004 Honda Accord due to heavy traffic conditions, when his car was rearended by a 2010 Toyota Corolla going about 65 miles per hour, and driven by 23-year-old Ontario man.

Paramedics rushed Paramo to Baldwin Park Kaiser Hospital with major injuries. Paramedics transported the 23-year-old Ontario man to Citrus Valley Medical Center in West Covina with minor injuries.
The 23-year-old Ontario man was not arrested or cited, and alcohol was
not a factor in the crash.
