Sheriff's Ask Help Finding Missing Hacienda Heights Man

The missing man is schizophrenic and has been missing since Aug. 2.

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are searching for a missing Hacienda Heights man who is schizophrenic.

They are asking the public’s assistance in finding him.

Roy Everling, was last seen leaving his home on the 1600 block of Darley Avenue in Hacienda Heights, at 7 p.m. on Aug. 2. He left on foot and has not been heard from since, sheriff’s officials wrote in a news release.

Everling is described as a white male, 6-foot-4, 195 pounds with brown hair, hazel eyes, with a half- to three-quarter-inch horizontal scar under the left eyebrow. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue short-sleeve T-shirt and blue “Vibram” Five-Finger shoes, officials said.

“His family is very concerned and are also asking for the public’s assistance,” officials said.
