Six Arrested, 40 Impounds During Checkpoint

A total of 71 traffic tickets were issued during the latest Baldwin Park Police Checkpoint.

A total of six arrests left the DUI checkpoint conducted by the Baldwin Park Police last Saturday May 26 as part of the Avoid the 100 DUI Campaign.

According to Lt. David Reynoso, two arrests were made for DUI (driving under the influence), three for outstanding warrant for traffic violations and one for failing to produce any form of official identification.

A total of 71 traffic tickets were issued. 28 were for driving on a suspended license, 37 for driving without a license and the rest for various traffic violations.

At least 40 vehicles were impounded during the checkpoint and another 25 were released to the registered owner at checkpoint.
