The coroner's office identified on Monday the victim of a stabbing in Bellflower as Joel Garcia, 32, of Baldwin Park.
The death was reported at 12:38 a.m. Sunday in the 14000 block of McNab Avenue, according to Deputy Peter Gomez in the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.
Garcia was the boyfriend of a woman and he may have confronted her estranged husband, according to ABC7.
The estranged husband was detained for questioning. There was no late word from the sheriff's department about whether he was booked.
