Suspect Arrested After Barricading Himself in Baldwin Park

Eduardo Rodriguez, 19, was taken into custody shortly before 8 a.m. in the garage of the house in the 3800 block of Cosbey Street.

A man wanted for assault with a deadly weapon was arrested today after barricading himself inside his home in Baldwin Park, police said.

Eduardo Rodriguez, 19, was taken into custody shortly before 8 a.m. in the garage of the house in the 3800 block of Cosbey Street, said Baldwin Park police Lt. David Reynoso.

Officers had gone to the Cosbey Street residence, and a nearby residence, to serve an arrest warrant about 5 a.m., Reynoso said.

Rodriguez was arrested with the assistance of a police dog, and suffered minor injuries while being taken into custody, Reynoso said.
