Thefts, Vehicle Thefts Top Last Week's Crimes Around Town
Crime recap from Sept. 30 through Oct. 6.
There were 23 crimes reported last week in Baldwin Park and nearby unincorporated county areas, according to data from the Crimereports.com website, which the Baldwin Park Police Department uses to log crimes.
That compares to 28 crimes in the same area last week. As with last week, theft was the most common type of crime.
The crime break-down, from Monday, September 30 to Sunday, Oct. 6, was:
• Four thefts from vehicles
• One property crime
• Two robberies
• Ten thefts
• Three breaking and entering crimes
• One Assault
• One assault with a deadly weapon
• One theft from a vehicle
