Transients Trying to Keep Warmth Inadvertently Start Fire

The fire on the northbound side near the westbound SR 57 ramp to San Dimas Avenue was reported at 1:08 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A fire broke out Saturday in some brush off State Route 57, in San Dimas, when a pair of transients tried to start a campfire for warmth.
