Two Burglaries Over the Weekend in Baldwin Park

There were two homes broken into over the weekend that are located relatively close to each other, one on Saturday evening, one on Sunday morning.

The first burglary was discovered shortly before midnight Saturday when a resident returned home to find the house ransacked and a window broken, according to Lt. David Reynoso of the Baldwin Park Police Department.

The burglary happened in the 3200 block of Frazier Street.  Home owners did not initially report on what was taken as they were still trying to determine what was missing, Reynoso said.

The second burglary happened in the 3100 block of Marlinda Avenue and was reported at 9:35 a.m. on Sunday.  In that case, the suspect or suspects entered through an unlocked window, Reynoso said.

Reynoso did not have information on what goods were stolen in the crime.
