Two Men Rob Bank in West Covina

An employee was forced to open a vault, from which a large, undetermined sum was taken and both suspects then fled.

WEST COVINA (CNS) - An investigation was under way Friday into the robbery of a credit union in West Covina.

Two men with handguns drawn entered the First Financial Federal Credit Union at 2528 E. Workman Ave. around 11:20 a.m. Thursday and ordered customers and tellers to get on the ground, according to West Covina police.

An employee was forced to open a vault, from which a large, undetermined sum was taken and both suspects then fled, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery. Anyone with information about the suspects was asked to call West Covina police at (626) 939-9500.
