Five people were hurt today, including two who were stabbed, during an early morning brawl at a house party in unincorporated Bassett, just South of Baldwin Park.

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies were called to a home in the 300 block of Santa Mariana Avenue at 2:21 a.m., said Sgt. Mark Stonich of the sheriff's Industry Station.

"They found two people stabbed, two hit with bottles and one person hit with a chair,'' Stonich said.
