Baldwin Park Swears in its New Council
An English and Spanish version of an invitation to the swearing in of a new council. The city welcomes one new face on the council.
Baldwin Park will swear their recently elected council members on Dec. 4 and are inviting the community to come out and take part.
Mayor Manuel Lozano who ran unopposed in the Nov. 5 election was returned to his post. But the top vote getter was newcomer Cruz Baca, an education specialist. Behind him was incumbent Susan Rubio. Both will also be sworn in during the December ceremony.
The reelections of City Clerk Alejandra Avila and City Treasurer Maria A. Contreras will also be celebrated.

The Swearing in Ceremony is scheduled at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 14403 East Pacific Ave.
A reception is scheduled following the swearing in at the Arts & Recreation Center, adjacent to City Hall, 14403-B East Pacific Ave.
