Baldwin Park Voter's Guide: All You Need to Know

Local races promise to reshape Baldwin Park's representation after district lines were redrawn last year. Find out what you need to know to make the right decisions in the voting booth.

Thanks to freshly redrawn district lines, Baldwin Park will assuredly elect new representation in federal offices this tuesday when residents will go to the polls. 

Also residents will vote for candidates to the  new 48th Assembly district seat where there are three candidates vying to represent it.

Other three candidates are running to represent the new 32nd district congressional district.

The top two candidates in each race--regardless of party affiliation--make it onto November's general election ballot.

Votersr will also decide wheter to approve two state ballot measures -- one to add a $1 tax on cigarettes to fund cancer research and another to reduce the amount of time politicians can serve in the state Legislature from 14 years to 12 years.
