Free, High-Efficiency Toilets to be Given Away

The Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District is giving away free, high-efficiency toilets next month.

If you live in Baldwin Park, El Monte, Basset, Valinda, South El Monte or Irwindale and have a current water bill, then you're the winner of a free toilet sweepstakes.

The Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District, which includes Baldwin Park and those cities, is giving away free, high-efficiency toilets at an event next month.

Supplies are limited and will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. The toilets can be picked up from Gabrielino High School, 1327 S. San Gabriel Blvd., San Gabriel, on March 17 beginning at 8 a.m.

Residents can take up to two toilets per household and must deliver their old toilets to the same location from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 14.
