More Planned Freeway Closures This Week

Although exact closure start times and locations will vary, motorists can expect the 10 to be unavailable between the 605 and Long Beach (710) freeways every night.

Overnight freeway closures are planned on two of the three east-west freeways east of Los Angeles all week, according to Caltrans engineers.

Overnight closures will be instituted on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway starting Saturday, and will affect traffic from downtown Los Angeles east to La Puente.

East of the San Gabriel Valley (605) Freeway, both directions of the 10 Freeway will be closed as far as Puente Avenue between midnight and 4 a.m., starting Saturday and lasting through Thursday.

Although exact closure start times and locations will vary, motorists can expect the 10 to be unavailable between the 605 and Long Beach (710) freeways every night.

Partial lane closures on the 10 Freeway will begin at about 9 p.m., with full closures starting at either 11 p.m. or midnight and lasting until 4 or 5 a.m., Caltrans officials said.
