Baldwin Park API Scores Show One Point Dip from Last Year

Baldwin Park Unified API scores dipped slightly, as did students across the state as a whole.

Baldwin Park Unified students showed a slight dip in state Academic Performance Index scores that were released by the state on Tuesday, going from 769 in 2012 to 768 in 2013.

The state as a whole also showed an overall drop, from 791 to 789.  The state's target score is 800 - overall 56 percent of elementary schools, 50 percent of middle schools, and 31 percent of high schools made that mark.

Baldwin Park Unified showed a significant improvement from 2011 to 2012.
