Citrus College Named One of Top Community Colleges For Transfers

Citrus College was recognized in a recent report by the Campaign for College Opportunity.

Citrus College was rated as one of the top three state community colleges for student transfers into the California State University System.

The college was recognized in a progress report released by The Campaign for College Opportunity. The ratings were based on successful student transfers under Senate Bill 1440, also known as the Student Transfer Achievement Reform Act.

“This report really spells out how well we are doing here at Citrus College,” said Joanne Montgomery, President of the Board of Trustees in a written statement.  “Under the strong management of Dr. Geraldine Perri and her team, as well as the collaborative relationship that we have with our faculty and staff, this report is a very clear, measurable indicator that we are working to ensure our students are succeeding and our community is being served.”
