The Baldwin Park Quarterback Club is hosting the 3rd Annual BP Braves Alumni Football Game this Friday May 18. According to their facebook page the game will once again be coached by legendary coaches Ty Pagone and Tony Zane. "Don't miss out playing football under the lights of Baldwin Park High School and seeing old friends", they said in a flyer. "We guarantee it will be a game to remember". The cost for the event is $25.00 per player and the registration begins at 6:00 pm. Parents and teachers start a campaign to get Baldwin Park residents more involved in civic and school-related issues.

The Baldwin Park Unified School District announced that the 2012 school year will finish a week earlier than what was previously established.

For Miriam Everette, a long time educator in the Baldwin Park area, using physical activities to support literacy came about as a natural extension of decades of observation of both kids and adults.
