Baldwin Park City Council to Recognize Local Students

The Baldwin Park City Council is recognizing two local students for winning the Mark Daniel Flores Music Scholarship Award during Wednesday City Council Meeting. They will also present a recognition to the Valle Vista League Top 5 Honorees from Baldwin Park High School (BPHS)

Rafael Tapia, a junior from BPHS and Vivian Feliz from Sierra Vista High School are the recipients for the Music scholarship. This Foundation provides scholarships to committed musicians who wish to continue in a career in music.

Delilah Garcia, Bernardo Flores, Jr., Tyler Jones, Steven Trinidad, and Brandon Brown are the Valley Vista League Top 5 honorees from BPHS.

The city council is also set to reject the claims for damages of Laura Kam and Silvestre and Consuelo Arteaga.

Among the consent items in the City Council agenda is to authorize the installation of security cameras at the new Transportation Center. 

The City Council meeting will take place at the City Council Chamber at 7 p.m. The public is welcome to join.
